3D Product Renders

Launch sooner with photorealistic images and short animations that stay consistent across every finish and SKU.

Key benefits

Faster Product Launches

Get finished product images and short animations before physical samples exist.

Consistent Core Assets

Each new SKU receives a predefined series of consistent on-brand core assets including images and animation.

Custom Lifestyle Scenes

Place your product in a tailored setting with on-brand props, lighting, and styling.

Engaging Animations

Short loops and 360° spins grab attention and explain product features in seconds.

Images Before Physical Samples

Using your CAD files or design drawings, we create a photorealistic 3D replica of your product, also known as a Digital Twin, so images and animations can be ready before physical samples are finished.

Pulling asset creation forward helps keep marketing teams on schedule, letting pages, packaging, and ads be built in advance for faster launches with less last-minute scramble.

Save Weeks or Months

Publish earlier, sell sooner.

Photorealistic Precision

Digital Twins match your product dimensions and finish.

Easy Updates

When colors, labels, or shapes change, images can be quickly re-rendered.

What We’ll Need

  • CAD files (STEP/IGES/FBX) or detailed drawings with measurements
  • Label files, logos, other artwork (AI/PDF)
  • Finish and material specs (Pantone/RAL)

Core Image Assets, Fast

Each time a new product is developed, you receive a complete, publish-ready set of core images and animations. We work with your team to define a standard asset set for each product category, then repeat it on every new launch.

Lighting and camera setups stay locked, so results are predictable and on-brand. Consistent results reduce revision rounds and delays, keeping launch dates on-target.

Beyond your standard set, we can create additional views to highlight features and capture details unique to that SKU, such as close-ups, lifestyle shots, and custom animations.

Stills & Animations With Every NPI

3D Rendering FAQs

Here are answers to some of the most common questions about Hero Shots and their role in a product photography project.

Do we need CAD files to start?

CAD files are helpful, especially if you need images before physical samples, but they are not required. We can model from drawings with detailed measurements. If neither CAD nor drawings are available, we can create the model from a physical sample you ship to our studio once it is available.

How much does it cost?

3D render projects are quoted separately from our traditional studio photography services. Pricing is based on two parts: creating the Digital Twin (the 3D model) and the assets you need (standard images, animations, and any lifestyle scenes). Costs vary with product complexity, whether CAD is provided, the number of images or animations, and any rush timelines or revisions. Volume launches and ongoing pipelines receive discounted rates. Please contact us so we can learn more about your products and provide a quote for your project.

How long does it take?

Smaller runs of a few SKUs typically complete in 1–2 weeks. Larger, multi-SKU projects depend on scope and complexity. If your products are still in production, our goal is to deliver images well ahead of physical samples so your launch assets are ready the moment inventory hits the warehouse.

What file formats do you deliver?

Publish-ready stills are typically delivered as PNG or TIFF format. Animations are delivered as H.264 MP4. Resolutions are set to your needs; our common baselines are 3000×3000 px for stills and 1080p at 30 fps for video. Other formats, resolutions, and compression settings are available on request.

Backed by Our Full Photo Studio

Our 3D team sits alongside our full-service product photography studio, so your 3D projects get the support of traditional photography when needed. We match color, lighting, and angles across 3D and traditional photos to deliver one consistent look across your entire line.

Studio Shots When Needed

Need hand modeling or softgoods that are best captured traditionally? We shoot these in-house with lighting and angles match your brand style, delivered alongside your 3D assets.

Photographic Finishes

Some finishes, such as wood and fabric, need to be photographed before being converted into 3D materials. Our in-house studio makes this process easy and accurate.

Real Life Benchmarking

Studio reference images matched to our 3D lighting help ensure metals, glass, and plastic behave the same way in 3D as they do in the studio.
