Do I need to be located near Las Vegas to be a client?
You don't need to be in Las Vegas, or even in the United States, to work with us! In fact, over 95% of our clients are located outside the Las Vegas area.
How long do photography projects take?
Projects are usually completed 1 week after your products arrive at our studio. In rare cases when we have an exceptionally high workload, your project may take slightly longer. Also, if your project involves a large number of photos we may need a little more time to finish the job. Contact us to discuss the turnaround time for your specific project based on our current production schedule.
What are my payment options?
We accept credit card payments through Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. For all projects, a deposit of 50% is required before beginning work. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of your proofs.
We also accept payment by check or money order. Please make checks payable to ProductPhotography.com, LLC. If paying by check we require the full amount to be paid prior to beginning your photo project.
How do you deliver my finished photos?
Delivery of your completed photos occurs via our dedicated image hosting server. Upon completion of your project, you will be provided a unique username and password for our Client Login area. Log-in to our image server to view and instantly download your high resolution images. We store your images on our server for future viewing at no additional charge.
What kind of license comes with the images?
Upon final delivery, the photographs become licensed to your company for use on a royalty-free basis. This means you are free to use the photographs in any of your publications as many times as you like, with as wide a distribution as you like, without ever having to pay us royalties for their use. We allow the use of these photos in all forms of media including print advertising, packaging, web, television, etc. We do retain the copyrights for delivered photos and the photographs may not be re-sold to any third party without prior written permission.
In what format are my photos delivered?
We deliver photos in a high resolution, 300 DPI jpeg format using maximum quality settings. In addition to the high resolution original, our server also outputs smaller size images for use on the web.
If you request for your photos to have transparent backgrounds by choosing our optional masking service, your photos will also be delivered in tiff format, in addition to the high-res jpeg described above.
What if I would like an image to be re-shot?
We add re-shoots to your final invoice at a rate of 1/2 the photo cost. For example, if you are paying $30 per photo for a series of images and decide one needs to be re-shot with a slightly different arrangement, we charge the initial rate of $30, plus an additional $15 for the re-shoot.
Re-shooting images is part of the photographic and creative process and a certain amount of work re-shooting images should be expected. The number of revisions a project requires depends largely on the tastes of the client, but in our experience, fewer than 5% of the images we deliver require being re-shot on a typical project.
I have a product that is very large and heavy. Can you shoot it?
While we are able to accommodate items of various sizes and weights, we do have some size limitations when it comes to very large or heavy products. Contact us to discuss your oversize product and your specific photography needs. If we can accommodate your product in our studio, we’d be happy to draft a custom quote for your project.
